Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) is seeking a Bar Back to support the bartending team at our Indianapolis location. You will keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized while aiding bartenders to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates are dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within CRG.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to take direction and work collaboratively with the bar and restaurant team.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude during busy shifts.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain organized throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar, service areas, and surrounding spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Clear and clean used glassware, dishes, and bar tools throughout the shift.
• Wipe down and sanitize bar surfaces, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and sanitation standards.
• Assist bartenders with maintaining a smooth and efficient service.
• Refill ice, glassware, garnishes, mixers, napkins, and other necessary supplies.
• Assist with running drinks and other items to guests when needed.
• Communicate with bartenders regarding inventory levels and any additional needs.
• Organization and Restocking: Keep bar storage areas and service stations clean and organized.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, juices, garnishes, and other bar supplies as needed.
