Bar Back / Busser Job Responsibilities:

The role of the Bar Back/Busser is to contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests by:

• Clearing tables of dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware
• Sanitizing tables and surrounding areas
• Replacing table linens and setting tables for the next guest

Responsibilities:

• Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after guests are finished
• Sanitizing tables and chairs
• Setting tables with clean linens, condiments, or other needed supplies
• Scraping and stacking dirty dishes for cleaning
• Helping to restock the kitchen with plates and other needed supplies
• Maintaining the dining room
• Assisting bartenders in cleaning glassware, removing bus tubs, and stocking the bar

Qualifications:

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
