Topgolf in Holtsville, NY is hiring for Bar Back roles in a fast-paced, people-centered environment. You will support bartenders, stock the bar, and help ensure a fun and safe experience for players.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by ensuring they have what they need to keep energy high and drinks flowing.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice; maintain a clean, organized area.
• Assist with glassware cleaning, equipment maintenance and timely clearance of glasses and bottles.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards to provide a safe, clean environment for players and team members.

What you will do in the role:

• Role and Interaction with Players: Support the bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need to keep the energy high and the drinks flowing, helping to create a fun and seamless experience for our players!
• Key Aspect of the Role: Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, while maintaining a clean and organized area by cleaning glassware, equipment, and utensils—and collecting empty glasses and bottles to keep drink service running smoothly without missing a beat!
• Contribution to Topgolf and Other Playmakers: Be a key team player by working alongside bartenders and other playmakers to ensure service runs like clockwork, contributing to unforgettable player experiences!
• Commitment to Safety and Sanitation: We provide a safe and fun environment for all who come to play by sticking to safety and sanitation standards, keeping the bar clean, safe, and compliant—because a great experience starts with a clean and safe environment!

Physical Requirements

• Lift and Move Things: You’ll be handling items up to 50 lb., so being comfortable with lifting, bending, stooping and carrying things is key.
• On Your Feet: Expect to be on your feet for most of the day, so a love for walking throughout your shift.
• Active Tasks: From task to task, you’ll be constantly engaged in a variety of physical activities. A can‑do attitude is essential!
• Endurance: Whether it’s a long shift or tackling a task that takes time, we’re looking for someone who can keep up the pace in a high‑volume working environment.

This role requires that you must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment and retain necessary certifications in responsible beverage service, where required by law.
