Job summary

KITH is seeking a Juice Bar Associate at Kith Women's Cafe in New York. You will prepare all menu items to spec, execute opening, mid, and closing duties with urgency, monitor orders, and maintain a clean, organized work area while delivering friendly, efficient service.

The role requires 1+ year in food and beverage, an active Food Handler or ServSafe license, ability to lift 30 lbs, and excellent multitasking.

• Ability to lift and move 30 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to recipes and standards
• Execute opening, mid, and closing duties with urgency, accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor KDS orders and begin production promptly to maintain service speed and quality
• Follow direction from the MOD and management team throughout each shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented work area
• Restock supplies and assist with prep when needed
• Support POS and guest service operations when needed
• Prepare and replenish ingredients including frozen fruits and vegetables
• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality
• Maintain professional relationships with teammates and be flexible to support the team
• Continue to develop product and ingredient knowledge
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Uphold standards for product quality, cleanliness, service and presentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by MOD and management team
• Participate in physical inventories as required

About The Role

Location: Kith Women's Cafe

Status: Full Time or Part Time

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Position Summary: The Juice Bar Associate is responsible for preparing high-quality food items while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar. The Juice Bar Associate works closely with the MOD and management team to execute daily operations, maintain food safety and company standards, and support the team wherever needed. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to providing a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu and food items according to company recipes and standards.
• Execute assigned opening, mid, and closing duties with urgency, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Monitor KDS orders and begin production promptly to maintain service speed and quality.
• Follow direction from the MOD and management team throughout each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented work area by cleaning as you go, organizing tools and supplies, managing waste, and completing assigned cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks.
• Restock work area supplies and ingredients, wash dishes, and assist with prep when directed and when support staff is unavailable.
• Support POS and guest service operations when needed and directed by the MOD or management team
• Prepare and replenish ingredients, including frozen fruits, vegetables, essential fats, and other required items.
• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality by responding to guest needs professionally, efficiently, and with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with teammates and demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Continuously develop product and ingredient knowledge, including superfoods, Jing Herbs, and other wellness offerings.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, operational, and company policies and procedures.
• Uphold standards for product quality, cleanliness, service, and overall presentation.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the MOD and management team

Special Projects

• Participate and assist in Physical Inventories as required by the business.
• Assist the Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.

Requirements

Availability

• Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.

Licenses/Certificates

• Valid and current Food Handlers License from the Department of Health or ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate is required

Experience

• 1+ years in the Food & Beverage industry
• 6+ months using industrial kitchen equipment
