Sonesta International Hotels Corporation seeks a Banquets Server – On Call in Denver (Downtown). The role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverage items with exemplary hospitality and attention to quality standards.

This on-call, non-exempt position requires flexibility for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a pay range of $20.00–$21.00 per hour. Prior server experience and a strong guest-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant preferred—preferably fine dining.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge arriving guests in a prompt and professional manner.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Serve orders after checking temperature, appearance and portions; refill as needed.
• Operate POS system and ensure orders are transmitted promptly; adhere to cash handling policies.
• Check-in with tables to ensure guests’ satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Maintain dining areas, stations and servicing equipment cleanliness.
• Complete closing duties and reports as assigned.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines and uniform standards.
