Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Palm Springs, CA seeks an attentive Food & Beverage server to deliver friendly, timely service to casino and hotel guests. You will know the menu, wine lists, and specials, and follow the established service sequence.

Responsibilities include clearing and resetting stations, assisting teammates, handling receipts, and keeping F&B areas compliant with company standards and regulations. The role requires standing for long periods and working in a smoke-influenced casino environment.

DescriptionJob Description SummaryResponsible for providing knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverages to our casino and hotel guests.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverages and wine lists.Follows the correct sequence of service at all times.Clears, cleans, resets, and maintains station during shift.Assists other servers in giving the best possible service.Handles guests receipts according to internal controls.Assures F&;B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations.Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation for all F&;B outlets.May be assigned to Food & Beverage work stations of the casino and/or hotel.Provide excellent guest service.Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIREDQualificationsRequired Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED preferred.Restaurant & 1-2 years of related experience in full-service dining preferred.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Working Conditions/Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
