Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Denver is seeking a Banquet Cook 1 to join our culinary team. The senior cook will work across stations, apply advanced culinary knowledge, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in our busy kitchen.

Responsibilities include menu collaboration, supervising during sous-chef absences, and handling large parties with precise time management. Must be fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

The Banquet Cook 1 role is a senior cook position, the ideal candidate will be able to work any station in the kitchens, possess advanced culinary knowledge, highly proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task. Maintain operations in the kitchen in absence of a sous chef. Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle large parties and solve kitchen related issues. The Cook 1 will prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues, have input into the preparation and presentation of dishes on the menu. Enforce health and hygiene standards. Good understanding of dietary requirements and ability to follow policies and procedures relating to allergens. Complete requisition sheets and communicate necessary kitchen maintenance items through appropriate channels. Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items per group guest orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience, minimum five years culinary or related work experience.

A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
