L'Auberge de Sedona in Sedona, AZ is seeking a Banquets Chef to lead culinary operations for banquets, outlets, and our team cafeteria. You will work alongside the Executive Chef to keep the kitchen safe, organized, and waste-conscious while delivering visually appealing dishes.

The role is an overtime-eligible manager position, with a focus on mentoring kitchen staff, maintaining high standards, and managing costs. A competitive benefits package is included after a waiting period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive banquet kitchen experience in a hotel or related field, with supervisory experience.
• Proficient in company‑approved spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to perform under high‑pressure events.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial data and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and team members with warmth to set the scene for events.
• Attend events on time and align with hotel schedules and standards.
• Maintain a sharp professional appearance with approved uniform and nametag.
• Ensure kitchen safety and regulatory compliance for smooth operations.
• Stay upbeat, attentive, and helpful with guests and colleagues throughout events.
• Assist in controlling food costs, organizing recipe cards, and guiding new dishes.
• Coach, train, and inspire kitchen staff to meet Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
