Job summary

Hard Rock Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team, plan menus, procure supplies, and drive quality for guests and events.

You will supervise banquet and kitchen staff, manage food costs, and collaborate with catering sales to tailor menus while maintaining health, safety, and licensing compliance.

Strong leadership, training, and budgeting skills are essential to elevate product and guest experience in a high-volume casino environment.

Qualifications

• This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a degree from a certified food service program, apprenticeship, culinary school, or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience required and 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef in a 4 star or 5 star establishment with sizeable conference and banqueting facilities.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and procurement for meals and events, considering marketing conditions and holidays.
• Supervise banquet and kitchen staff and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor food cost variances and enforce budgetary guidelines for food, labor and overhead.
• Ensure health, sanitation and licensing compliance across all operations.
• Consult with catering sales to tailor special menus and client needs.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
