Job summary

Hard Rock International in Orlando is seeking a banquet server to assist with private events, ensuring flawless service and memorable guest experiences. You will read and follow BEO setups, maintain banquet standards, and work as a team with servers and staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a neat appearance. Prior banquet server or bartender experience is preferred; flexible to work varied shifts and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the BEO setup of private events based on Banquet Manager/Captain instructions.
• Follow banquet standards to maintain high guest service levels.
• Breakdown of all areas and proper storage of all banquet equipment.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures of Banquet Department and Hard Rock.
• Work as a team with all other servers and staff.
• Be at your best to create a memorable guest experience beyond expectations.
• Any other duties assigned by Banquet Manager/Captain.

Job Description:

• Read and follow the BEO Set up of private events based upon the instructions of the Banquet Manager/Captain


• Follow all banquet standards in maintaining our high level of guest service


• Breakdown of all areas and proper storage of all banquet equipment


• Understand and follow through with all policies and procedures of the Banquet Department and the Hard Rock Organization


• Work as a team with all other servers and staff


• Be at your very best at all times and create an experience for our guests that is memorable and beyond their expectations


• Any other and all duties assigned by the Banquet Manager/Captain

Job Requirements Include:

• Performing duties which require bending & reaching


• Able to lift up to 25-pounds


• Standing or walking on the floor for up to 8+ hours


• Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (\"having a plan\")


• Following all uniform guidelines


• Practicing all safety & sanitation standards


• Recycling products, where possible


• Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere


• Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency


• Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers - never allowing personal life or outside influences to dictate attitude

• Prior experience as a banquet server and/or bartender


• Versed in banquet table service
