Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items efficiently to dining guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintain food safety and sanitation, and assist guests as needed.
3. Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary requests and allergies.
4. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills, remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
6. Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
7. Maintain a clean, safe environment for guests.
8. Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
9. Address complaints promptly and report to supervisors.
10. Prepare dining area before and after service, keeping it clean and sanitary.
11. Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
12. Collaborate with other departments during events.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
