Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items efficiently to guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met; assist guests as needed.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary requests and allergies.
• Coordinate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff; remain flexible and patient.
• Handle tickets and cash following proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Address guest complaints or issues promptly; report to supervisor.
• Prepare the dining area before and after service; meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
