Job summary

Limelight Hotels is seeking a Banquet Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization of flatware, glassware, and kitchen areas. The role supports food preparation as needed and reports to the Kitchen Manager. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with actual pay based on budget and experience.

Applications are accepted until October 11, 2026. This role involves shifts that include nights, weekends, and holidays, with regular duties in a high-activity kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety course certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stack all dishes properly.
• Store dishes and silver in the designated locations.
• Set up cleaning area and operate dish machine.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment; assist in pre/post shift cleaning.
• Assist with storage of food deliveries and inventory control.
• Clean kitchen walls, floors, and adjacent areas as scheduled.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble dishwasher before end of shift.
• Post caution signs when floors are wet or being mopped.
• Assist with food preparation according to chef specifications.
• Follow daily prep list to ensure items are ready for service.
• Report issues with food products or equipment to Executive Steward.
• Other duties as assigned.
