Job summary

The Grand Hyatt Seattle is seeking a Banquet Steward/Dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness of china, silverware and cookware for all banquet events and to transport culinary offerings from the kitchen to event spaces. You will work closely with the culinary and banquets teams to ensure flawless event execution.

This fast-paced role requires strong verbal and written communication, refined organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Refined mathematical reasoning.
• Ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds).
• Flex schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food handler's permit required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware and cookware for banquet functions.
• Transport culinary offerings from the kitchens to event spaces.
• Work with culinary and banquets teams to ensure flawless events.
• Stand/walk for long periods and handle weights up to 50 pounds.
