Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Banquet Steward. This full-time, hourly position supports event services by ensuring the cleanliness of china, silverware and cookware and by coordinating with banquet teams to fulfill contracts while upholding hotel standards.

The role requires clear communication and physical stamina to lift moderate weights, plus a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding/dishwashing experience in hotel setting is preferred, but not required.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the cleanliness of hotel china, silverware and cookware.
• Assist in coordinating banquet contracts and ensuring readiness for events.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace and support the banquet team.
