Job summary

Lesner Inn is hiring part-time event staff for the wedding season in Virginia Beach. We are currently hiring part‑time event staff for our wedding season. Staff must have weekend availability, have transportation to and from work, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to work in a team setting.

Banquet Event Requirements

• Prior experience preferred.
• Work formal banquets/special events.
• Assist with set up, break down, and clean up of all banquet events.
• Provides professional and attentive service to all guests.
• Must have attention to detail and be able to multi‑task.
• Checking and maintains proper set‑up and cleanliness of service station before, during and after each event.
• Responsible for food and drink service at banquet events.
• Has the ability to learn the menu of the event specified in the BEO.
• Understand the importance of teamwork, must be able to work well with others and have great communication skills.

Physical Demands & Abilities

• Frequent walking with some long periods of standing at times; possibly extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary.
• Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
