Job summary

Trump National Golf Club Jupiter is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef to assist the Banquet Chef in delivering exceptional event dining and service for weddings, member events, and private functions. This hands-on leadership role oversees banquet culinary staff, maintains quality and sanitation, and coordinates with other departments to ensure flawless event execution.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical/culinary school; or three to five years related experience.
• Language skills: read/interpret safety rules, write reports, speak before groups.
• Mathematical skills: calculate figures/percentages and apply basic algebra.
• Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out instructions and handle problems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily banquet culinary operations.
• Supervise, train, schedule, coach banquet staff and evaluate performance.
• Prepare and direct food production for banquets, weddings, tournaments, and events.
• Review banquet event orders and ensure menus, guest counts, and timings are executed.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, portions, and service standards.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and waste.
• Assist with food-cost and labor-cost management and take corrective action.
