Salary Range: $53000.00 - $55000.00 Salary
Description

Responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the Special Events kitchen, training and supervising staff; supervise the execution of house made stocks, soups, and sauces; supervising line level team members during prep; maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen; and managing production and purchasing based on the budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Place orders for product needed for events and ensure proper quality upon receipt
  • Assist in the menu writing and supervision of employee staff meal
  • Supervise the production of soups, stocks, and sauces for the operation
  • Participate in periodic performance reviews
  • Execute special event meal service in the absence of the Special Events Chef
  • Ensure that the quality standards set forth by the Chef are upheld by the staff
  • Ensure product consistency
  • Ensure that the staff meal kitchen area is clean and sanitary at all times
  • Participate in daily meetings with Special Event kitchen staff
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Special Event Chef
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is in working order. Submits work orders to our facilities maintenance team when needed.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on banquets and catering preparations
  • Must have full-time AM and PM availability
  • Motivated individual looking to step into a supervisory role and become a seasoned leader
  • Solid foundation of sound cooking techniques
