Job summary

Harrah's Resort Southern California in Valley Center, CA is seeking a part-time Banquet Setup role on call for banquets and special events. You will set up functions according to the Banquet Event Order and maintain a clean storage area.

Responsibilities include moving and arranging tables and chairs, setting up and cleaning chafing dishes, and assisting the team in a fast-paced environment while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry up to 100 lbs.
• Must have speed and accuracy to maintain maximum efficiency.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team member.
• Must maneuver to all kitchen and food service areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to push carts, pull, reach, bend, stoop, and stack racks of dishes and silverware.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet functions and special events as specified by supervisor.
• Move tables and chairs.
• Set-up tables and chairs according to function.
• Set-up and thoroughly clean chafing dishes.
• Responsible for vacuuming and sweeping floors after functions.
• Acts as a role model to other employees and uphold Harrah’s values.
• Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to policies.
