Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support event setup, break down, and seamless service at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights, NJ. You will partner with banquet staff to arrange spaces, move furniture, and ensure rooms meet client specifications.

Ideal candidates are reliable, flexible, and collaborative, with strong communication and a service-oriented attitude. This role operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment and contributes to memorable guest

Qualifications

Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down event spaces with the banquet team.
Arrange furniture, set tables, and prepare rooms per event specs.
Assist banquet servers by delivering equipment and supplies promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas.
Collaborate with banquet team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Anticipate guest needs and assist with enthusiasm.
Follow safety and sanitation standards for a safe environment.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and teamwork.
