Job summary

Atlanta Marriott Northeast/Emory Area is seeking a Banquet Set-Up House Person to prepare, arrange, and reset banquet and meeting spaces according to event specs. You will work with the events team to place tables, chairs, linens, and equipment while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

You should be dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to support flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Prior hotel banquet experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• You will be the behind-the-scenes hero for our hotel's special events, ensuring every function space is set up to perfection.
• Your daily tasks will include setting up tables, chairs, and other event equipment, as well as ensuring the cleanliness of banquet rooms.
• You will report to the Banquet Manager or Banquet Captain.
• A career as a banquet set-up houseperson can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as banquet captain, maintenance engineer, or even event management positions.
