Job summary

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU seeks a Banquet Houseperson to ensure the function room is set to Omni standards. You will set up, break down, and clean all spaces for banquets and conventions.

Responsibilities include keeping meeting rooms stocked, refreshing them during meals, and returning equipment. A flexible schedule and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required, with prior related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.
• Flexible shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic English communication required.
• Previous related experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain meeting rooms.
• Refresh meeting rooms during meals and coffee breaks.
• Complete final breakdown of meeting room.
• Clean and return equipment to proper location.
• Follow instructions on the Banquet Event Order.
• Assist other departments to ensure guest service.
• Other duties as assigned.
