Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a banquet setup team member to ensure flawless events at our Indianapolis venues. You will prepare banquet spaces, set up tables, chairs, and AV equipment, and assist guests with requests to deliver memorable experiences.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work nights/weekends in a fast-paced hotel/club setting. We value professionalism and teamwork to create exceptional events.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older.
• Be able to keep up with a fast paced environment.
• Be able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Stand and/or walk entire shift.
• Must be available nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet space including tables, chairs, table skirts and AV equipment following diagrams.
• Maintain health and safety practices at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Communicate clearly with all staff to ensure event success and smooth transitions.
• Break down and reset banquet areas after events according to directions.
• Perform side duties and clean work areas before shift ends.
• Other duties as assigned.
