Job summary

Fairmont Dallas is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction across guest rooms and public areas. You will anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and ensure all spaces meet departmental standards.

Knowledge of room setups and cleaning techniques is required, along with English fluency and Spanish preferred. Responsibilities include setting up rooms for meetings, refreshing spaces, and assisting with inventories.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Previous experience in similar position in the Hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of various room set-ups and standard equipment involved.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques.
• Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish.
• Some English required, basic understanding of banquet terminology; fluency in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and service standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Be familiar with hotel services and local attractions to respond to inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Set up rooms and function areas according to group requirements.
• Refresh rooms and break down function areas as scheduled.
• Transport and stock supplies as needed.
• Inspect furniture and equipment and report damages.
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Assist with inventories and stock requisitions.
