Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co is seeking a Banquet Set Up associate to assist banquet personnel in delivering exceptional service in accordance with Autograph Collection standards under Mainsail Lodging & Development.

The role requires greeting guests, setting up banquet spaces, and coordinating with management on inventory and housekeeping needs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use technology such as tablets and iPads.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly in all public spaces.
• Assist with banquet setup, tables and chairs.
• Follow scheduled shifts and break rules.
• Report equipment issues and room disparities to management.
• Handle guest special requests and provide hotel knowledge.
• Communicate inventory needs to manager.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Maintain clean work areas and assist others as needed
