Job summary

EOS Hospitality in Florida is seeking a banquet setup houseperson to ensure events are prepared according to client specifications in the BEO and to maintain a polished venue. You will tear down and set up rooms, handle equipment, and support servers and managers to deliver top-tier service during functions.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Food Handler’s certification within six months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Tears down and sets up meeting and event rooms per BEO specifications.
• Care for, move, and store equipment (tables, risers, lecterns, linens, etc.).
• Periodically clean meeting and event rooms before and after events.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients during functions as needed.
• Assist with straightening chairs, clearing dishes, and restocking materials to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with banquet staff and managers to deliver high standards of service.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
