Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Banquet Set-Up Attendant for the Renaissance Indianapolis North property. You will help direct the setup and preparation of banquet rooms for events, and assist with tear-down after functions.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. On-call work with service-charge-based pay and a $500 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and arrange conference equipment in conference rooms per event order.
• Daily thorough cleaning of classrooms, ballrooms and team rooms following proper cleaning standards.
• Refreshes meeting rooms during meals and coffee breaks.
• Completes special projects as directed by department management.
• Moves convention material boxes, programs, etc. from hotel receiving docks, registration areas, guest rooms or suites.
• Bus tables and re-set them as needed.
• Resolve guests’ issues and create an amazing experience.
• Communicate and maintain a positive relationship with culinary and stewarding staff.
• Maintain an awareness of all functions, events and meetings taking place at any given time.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

This position is eligible for $500 in sign on bonuses ($250 paid after 30 days, $250 paid after 90 days), and quarterly incentive plans.

Position requires availability to work weekends.

As an on-call employee, you will be scheduled as needed by business demand. This position is paid from a percentage of the service charges from client events, and regularly pays $30-$40+/hour. It is a physical job, requiring ability to move heavy items (tables, chairs, staging) through the entirety of the shift.

We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Set-Up Attendant to join our team! This individual will help to direct the set up and preparation of banquet rooms for banquet functions, as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.
