Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Set Up staff at our Spartanburg property to assist with event setup, greet guests, and deliver Marriott-standard service across public spaces and dining areas.

You will help set tables and chairs, coordinate with managers on inventory, and handle guest requests with professionalism. High school diploma or higher and comfort with basic technology are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guest in all public spaces with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Assist with banquet function to include set up of tables and chairs.
• Follow scheduled shifts and break/lunch requirements.
• Report light outages, broken equipment, or room disparities to manager.
• Assist guests with any special requests.
• Communicate inventory needs (chairs, tables, linens) to manager.
• Maintain professionalism while using technology.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and guest housekeeping areas.
