Job summary

The Barley House Springfield MO is hiring for Banquet Setup. This part-time role supports event preparation, assists with water, AV, and break setup, and ensures guest services meet OHM brand standards.

You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a neat appearance while coordinating with supervisors. Prior banquet or hospitality experience is preferred, and opportunities for growth exist within OHM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of hospitality or banquet experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and provide friendly guest service.

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments as directed by supervisor or shift leader.
• Set up water, amenities, AV, and breaks at least 15 minutes before meetings.
• Address guest requests for additional equipment and supplies and note any charges.
• Provide world-class guest service according to OHM and brand standards.
• Set up and clean meeting and function rooms per OHM and brand specifications.
• Refresh meeting rooms during breaks and assist with meal service and breakdown as needed.
• Assist in getting banquet guest checks signed and submitted to the front office.
• Follow energy conservation guidelines and safety procedures.
• Handle all equipment and supplies properly.
• Report to work on time, in uniform, as scheduled.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Embrace OHM cultures and perform other duties as required.
