The Confluence Hotel in Hastings, MN is seeking a dedicated Banquet Houseperson to ensure the flawless setup, maintenance, and cleanup of our banquet and event spaces. You will join a dynamic team focused on delivering memorable guest experiences in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with setup/breakdown, maintaining clean banquet areas, supporting staff, and ensuring spaces meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, event setup, or related roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to lift, move, and position furniture and equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet events, including tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
• Support banquet staff with service-related tasks as needed.
• Ensure all event spaces are prepared according to specifications and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to any guest or staff requests during events.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and report needs to management.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
