Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Set-Up Attendant for the La Quinta Resort and Club to coordinate setup and teardown of banquet rooms for events. You will support Conference Services and ensure spaces meet standards with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to follow instructions accurately, both verbal and written.

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs, with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending, squatting, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Direct setup and preparation of banquet rooms per event order and per Conference Services standards.
• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, ballrooms and team rooms and restock meeting room supplies.
• Refresh meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks and tear down after events.
• Move convention materials, programs, and related items as needed.
• Bus tables and reset banquet spaces as required.
• Resolve guest issues and create an outstanding guest experience.
• Maintain positive coordination with culinary and stewarding staff.
• Maintain awareness of all events and meetings taking place.
