Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts invites you to join the JW Marriott Reston Station Residences team as a Banquet Houseperson for the grand opening this Fall. You will assist with setting up banquet spaces, transporting heavy items, and ensuring guest rooms meet specifications for events and meetings.

This is a hands-on role in a luxury hotel environment with growth opportunities. We are looking for reliable team players who communicate well, lift up to 30 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced banquet environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, including transporting heavy items such as tables, chairs, and flooring.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down meeting rooms after use and return equipment to storage to be reset for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep spaces presentable at all times.
• Be available to work on a regular basis and follow attendance rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
