South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront is seeking a full-time Banquet Set Up individual to greet guests and assist with banquet room events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down all function room spaces according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) details.
- Assist captains and servers with serving food or beverages and stocking buffet lines as requested.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and kitchen areas.
- Display a professional and friendly attitude towards guests, colleagues, and management.
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability according to scheduled events.
- Previous banquet setup experience preferred.
- Ability to read basic English to understand BEOs and communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, crouch/stoop, twist, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
