Job description

Compensation:

• Range: $14.50 to $20.00 depending on experience & location.
• Shift differential: $2.00 to $3.00 depending on location.

Position: Porter/Custodian

Under general supervision, perform custodial and maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Perform related work as required.

Position Requirements

• Vacuum, shampoo, and spot clean carpets; mop floors and furniture; wash windows.
• Remove trash following established procedures.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, shower rooms, coolers, freezers, and other facilities; order and stock supplies.
• Respond to emergency calls for custodial assistance.
• Assist with setup and takedown of furniture and equipment for store events.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as installation and repair of fixtures in restrooms, shower rooms, and coolers.
• Refinish floors as needed.
• Identify stains and use appropriate chemicals for removal.
• Maintain inventory and submit supply requests; evaluate new supplies and equipment.
• Maintain cooler presentation standards: ensure it is full, faced, cleaned, and signed.
• Prepare spaces for the day by taking out trash, straightening furniture, and dusting.
