Banquet Set Up Attendant (Part‑Time, Weekend Availability)

Location

Essex, VT

Pay

$18 per hour

Basic Function

The Banquet Setup Attendant will set up and breakdown banquet rooms for banquet functions.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms based on diagrams, including draping tables, setting tables and chairs, setting up AV equipment, and cleaning rooms.
• Break down banquet rooms, removing dirty linens, trash, and recycling; vacuuming, breaking down tables, and storing furniture in appropriate spaces.
• Clean and organize storage rooms.
• Manage inventory of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and state health codes.
• Greet all guests in a courteous manner, displaying a helpful attitude.
• Report hazardous conditions or broken equipment to management immediately; notify Chief Engineer in an emergency.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with management and other employees.
• Be well organized and efficient.
