Job summary

JDM Golf at the Adobe Bar & Grille in Phoenix, AZ is seeking motivated Banquet Set-up staff on an as-needed basis. You will prepare event spaces to ensure seamless guest experiences for weddings, conferences, and other events. Must be willing to work full-time Sept 2026–May 2027 with open availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in event setup or hospitality preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 17 years old.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment according to event specifications.
• Assist in decorating and arranging event spaces as directed.
• Ensure that all setup tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and event spaces.
• Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure all details are in place for each event.
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup after events.
• Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
• Follow good personal hygiene guidelines.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Job Summary

Work Environment

This position primarily works both indoors and outdoors. At times, extreme temperatures may be part of the environment.

Work requires exposure to temperatures sufficiently high to cause bodily discomfort. The noise level is usually moderate.

Schedules vary and may include weekends, holidays, etc. as determined by business needs.

OSHA Category

Category I: Position engages in activities that with a high risk of coming into direct contact with blood and body fluids for which specific precautions must be taken. This position has been identified as Category I as it is most likely to attend to kitchen burns, accidents, or injuries.
