Job summary

Wyndham Indianapolis West is seeking a Banquet Set Up Team Member to prepare our banquet and event spaces for weddings, meetings and celebrations. You will help create a welcoming, professional environment and work in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The role involves setting up and breaking down event spaces, coordinating with banquet and F&B teams, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Training is provided; evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, hotel, hospitality or events is a plus
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms per diagrams, schedules and hotel standards
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, stages, dance floors and equipment
• Ensure spaces are clean, organized, attractive and guest-ready
• Assist with room changes and last-minute setup requests
• Work with Banquet and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth events
• Maintain clean, stocked banquet storage areas
• Safely move and store tables, chairs, equipment and supplies
• Follow hotel safety, cleanliness and operational standards
• Complete setup/breakdown tasks efficiently with attention to detail

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable hardworking and team oriented Banquet Set Up Team Member to help prepare our banquet and event spaces for weddings meetings conferences celebrations and other special events As part of our hotel team you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for our guests The ideal candidate takes pride in their work pays attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast paced hospitality environment

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event diagrams schedules and hotel standards
• Arrange tables chairs linens stages dance floors and other equipment as needed
• Ensure banquet and event spaces are clean organized attractive and ready for guests
• Assist with room changes and last minute set up requests
• Work closely with the Banquet and Food & Beverage teams to ensure events run smoothly
• Maintain clean organized and properly stocked banquet storage areas
• Safely move transport and store tables chairs equipment and supplies
• Follow all hotel safety cleanliness and operational standards
• Complete set up and breakdown tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

• Previous banquet hotel hospitality or event experience is preferred but not required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
