Job summary

Wyndham Indianapolis West is seeking a reliable Banquet Set-Up Team Member to prepare spaces for weddings, meetings and events. You will set up rooms, arrange tables and equipment, and work with the Banquet and F&B teams to ensure smooth events.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and punctuality in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with training provided and a welcoming team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, hotel, hospitality, or event experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event diagrams, schedules, and hotel standards.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, stages, dance floors, and other equipment as needed.
• Ensure banquet and event spaces are clean, organized, attractive, and ready for guests.
• Assist with room changes and last-minute set-up requests.
• Work closely with the Banquet and Food & Beverage teams to ensure events run smoothly.
• Maintain clear, organized, and properly stocked banquet storage areas.
• Safely move, transport, and store tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Complete set-up and breakdown tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Summary
