Job summary

Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit is seeking a Banquet Server to provide high-quality dining service at banquet events. Responsibilities include serving meals, setup/cleanup, and assisting with beverages while following Banquet Orders and supervisor guidance.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work irregular hours, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor for guests and clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver quality customer service in a professional manner.
• Carrying trays of food weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Walk and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and carry on a continuous basis.
• Cobb County Alcohol Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Serve banquet meals to guests at assigned stations as directed by Banquet Supervisors and Captains.
• Set up and clean stations, attend trainings and meetings.
• Brew coffee and prepare beverages as needed for events.
• Read Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and coordinate with Banquet Captain for accurate delivery of contracted services.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in guest and work areas; uphold Cobb Galleria Centre guidelines.
• Present a positive image of Cobb Galleria Centre to customers, vendors and tenants.
