Job summary

Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park is seeking a Banquet Server to assist with event setup and service in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will work to ensure exceptional guest experiences during functions, maintaining professionalism in all interactions and coordinating with banquet staff.

You will contribute to smooth operations by greeting guests, serving courses, replenishing beverages, and resetting spaces between events.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of state liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet space and assist with breakdown according to Banquet Event Orders.
• Greet guests and serve food and beverages professionally.
• Reload beverages and monitor guest satisfaction throughout service.
• Clear and reset banquet rooms between functions as directed.
• Follow safety, health standards and hotel policies; assist other banquet staff as needed.
