Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Banquet Server to provide guests in the catering department with high standards of food and beverage service across functions. You will read the BEO, set up stations, and maintain guest satisfaction while supporting banquet operations.

No prior experience is required, but one year of banquet/restaurant/catering experience is preferred. Excellent communication, hospitality, and multitasking skills are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• No experience required; one year banquet/restaurant/catering experience preferred.
• Must read a BEO and complete setup per its instructions.
• TIPS certification or other alcohol server certification is required.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Professional and friendly hospitality skills.
• Able to multitask and organize multiple orders and tasks within the same shift.

Responsibilities

• Attend events as scheduled and perform service with guests in a cordial, professional manner.
• Set up banquet tables, buffet stations, and service areas according to the BEO.
• Greet guests, take and serve orders, and assist the captain or Banquet Manager as needed.
• Refill beverages, manage service items, and maintain a clean, orderly station.
• Ensure wine and beverages are served appropriately and safely.
• Break down and reset banquet spaces after functions, returning equipment to storage.
