Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group, operator of Red Circle Inn in Wisconsin, seeks a Banquet Server to deliver quality food and thoughtful service that leaves guests with a lasting impression.

You will set up banquet spaces, maintain professionalism, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure event success, while providing friendly and knowledgeable service.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to keep up with a fast paced environment.
• Able to carry a tray to shoulder weighing up to 30lbs without assistance.
• Able to stand and/or walk entire shift.
• Prior knowledge of POS systems.
• Occasionally lift products weighing up to 50lbs.
• Consistently available nights and weekends.
• U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Responsibilities

• Properly set up banquet rooms including linen and china.
• Serve food and/or beverages; maintain consistency throughout events.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Maintain clear communication between staff for event success.
• During events, manage side work duties for productivity.
• When a banquet ends, remove linen, silverware, and trays.

YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.

As the Banquet Server, you will provide our guests with quality food and service in a friendly and knowledgeable manner

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Properly set up banquet room(s) as instructed including linen and china
• Serve food and/or beverage; ensuring consistency throughout event
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude and mannerism
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall event success
• During event, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success of the event
• Once banquet is complete, all linen, silverware, china and trays must be removed from space

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• You are 18 years or older
• You have refined verbal and written communication skills
• You are able to keep up with a fast paced environment
• You are able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 30lbs without assistance
• You are able to stand and/or walk entire shift
• You have prior knowledge of POS systems
• You are able to occasionally lift products weighing up to 50lbs
• You are consistently available nights and weekends

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• U.S. Work Authorization (required).
