Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Bartender to join our team. You will serve customers, provide excellent guest service, and help guests select food and beverages to enhance their dining experience.

As a Bartender, you will present orders, maintain a warm atmosphere, and contribute to a memorable dining experience. This on-site role requires basic math, strong communication, and a valid license; prior wine experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Basic math skills (able to add, subtract and count change back to customer).
• Legible handwriting.
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills.
• Valid Operator's License.
• Wine experience and/or certification.
• One year bartending experience.

Responsibilities

• Take customers’ food and drink orders.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each table in a timely manner.
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines and safety procedures.
• Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and documenting information as orders are taken.
• Process payments from guests and ensure accuracy of guest check and method of payment.
• Create a pleasurable dining experience for all guests.

YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.

As the Bartender, you will serve customers and present great customer service by providing information to help with food and beverage selections, creating and presenting order choices, and maintain a great dining experience by promoting a warm and friendly atmosphere.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Take customers’ food and drink orders
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each table in a timely manner
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
• Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information as the customer's order is taken and processed
• Process payments from guests and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company
• Create a pleasurable dining experience for all of our guests

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
