Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Catering-Banquet Server to deliver and serve food and beverages to catering clients in a friendly, timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at events. The role reports to Banquet Supervisors and supports the team in setting tables, transporting equipment, and maintaining cleanliness according to health standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong Customer Service skills, knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette, and physical mobility to perform tasks

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set tables to meet function specifications.
• Deliver equipment and beverages from storage to event location.
• Set/display food and beverages on buffet tables.
• Serve food and beverages to Catering clientele in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Remove china, glassware and silverware from meal area.
• Deliver dirty china, silverware and glassware to the kitchen’s dish washing station.
• Return equipment and unused beverages and dirty linens to storage locations neatly.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Catering Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Banquet Supervisors, the Catering-Banquet Server position is responsible for delivering and serving food and/or beverage items to catering clientele in a friendly, courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.

• Set tables to meet the function specifications
• Deliver necessary equipment and beverages from storage areas to event location
• Set/display food and beverages on buffet tables
• Serve food, beverage and accompaniments to Catering clientele in a friendly and courteous manner ensuring guest satisfaction
• Quietly remove china, glassware and silverware from meal area
• Deliver dirty china, silverware and glassware to the appropriate kitchen’s dish washing station
• Return equipment and unused beverages and dirty linen to appropriate storage locations in a neat and organized manner
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Catering Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
