Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous banquet service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, linens, place settings, décor).
• Provide timely and courteous food and beverage service to guests.
• Serve plated meals, buffet items, and beverages in a professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and be able to answer guest questions.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset as needed throughout the event.
• Assist with event breakdown, including removing linens, dishware, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Handle glassware, china, and equipment carefully to prevent damage.
• Adhere to company standards for appearance, punctuality, and professionalism.
