Job summary

Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner is seeking Event Servers to assist with serving, room set-up, and food & beverage service for banquet functions. You may also provide back-up assistance as assigned by the Banquet Captain, working in a fast-paced environment that rewards performance.

The position offers a pay rate of $4.00/hour and eligibility for tips, commissions, and service charges. Previous banquet service experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service. At least one year of F&B service experience is required.
• Ability to work and stand for long hours for events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving, room set-up, food & beverage service, and equipment for banquet functions.
• Back-up assistance as assigned by the Banquet Captain.
• Other responsibilities within the Banquets Department may be assigned based on business needs.
