Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton is seeking a service-driven On-Call Banquet Server to join the food & beverage team. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and liaise with the kitchen to ensure smooth banquet events.

Key duties include executing setup and breakdowns per Banquet Event Orders, maintaining a clean, organized station, handling cash and POS duties, and supporting teammates to deliver exceptional guest service during busy events.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Smile and always provide friendly and professional service, with genuine care and attention to detail.
• Exercise a sense of urgency for guest inquiries, requests and/or concerns.
• Be knowledgeable in menu offerings and preparations.
• Submit and deliver food orders, acting as a liaison between the guest and kitchen team.
• Understand Banquet Event Orders to execute set ups and breakdowns safely and efficiently.
• Complete all assigned prep and side work with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Handle cash and utilize a POS (Point of Sale) System as applicable.
• Help team members as needed to encourage a team atmosphere.
• Take pride in your role in order to embody an exceptional guest service atmosphere.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
