Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group seeks a part-time Banquet Server in Boise, ID. You will provide guests with quality food and service, set up banquet rooms, and support event success with professional conduct.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with strong verbal/written communication, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and familiarity with POS systems. Able to lift up to 50lbs and work nights/weekends. Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

• Able to carry a tray to shoulder weighing up to 30lbs without assistance.
• Able to stand and/or walk entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms as instructed including linen and china.
• Serve food and/or beverages with quality service.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Maintain clear communication between staff for event success.
• During events, perform side work duties for productivity.
• After events, remove linen, silverware, and trays.

As the Banquet Server, you will provide our guests with quality food and service in a friendly and knowledgeable manner

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Properly set up banquet room(s) as instructed including linen and china
• Serve food and/or beverage; ensuring consistency throughout event
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude and mannerism
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall event success
• During event, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success of the event
• Once banquet is complete, all linen, silverware, china and trays must be removed from space

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• You are 18 years or older
• You have refined verbal and written communication skills
• You are able to keep up with a fast paced environment
• You are able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 30lbs without assistance
• You are able to stand and/or walk entire shift
• You have prior knowledge of POS systems
• You are able to occasionally lift products weighing up to 50lbs
• You are consistently available nights and weekends

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Salary Description

$4.00/ Hour + Tips
