Overview
The Banquet Server is responsible for food and drink service at banquet events. The Banquet Server will also assist with the setup, breakdown, and cleanup of all banquet functions in accordance with the BEO, standards, specifications, and inventories. The Banquet Server maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe event area at all times to ensure a quality experience is delivered to guests. The successful Banquet Server will ensure quality and efficient guest service, maintain cleanliness and organization standards, and have exemplary attendance.
Responsibilities
Level One Responsibilities of Gold Key|PHR hourly Associates:
- Know your job. Complete job skills training and possess a clear knowledge of the job, property standards, and ask for clarification of assignments and expectations. Apply experience and training to accomplish tasks.

Associate Responsibilities specific to this role and department:
- Set up banquet functions and spaces.
- Set tables according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the function room and station.
- Use proper in-room clearing, aisle tray breakdown, buffet, or other food service equipment.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.
- Provide guest services professionally, exceeding expectations.
- Be familiar with various setup configurations for each function room.
- Complete assigned sidework and checklists.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- Previous high-volume restaurant or banquet service experience preferred
- Ability to work an entire shift standing and walking
