Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly Banquet Server to deliver quality food and service for our events. You will help set up banquet spaces, assist with serving, and ensure guests leave with a memorable experience.

Ideal candidates are 18+, possess strong communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment while handling tray weight and POS duties. This role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years or older.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
• Able to carry tray weighing up to 30lbs without assistance.
• Able to stand and/or walk entire shift.
• Prior knowledge of POS systems.
• Able to occasionally lift products weighing up to 50lbs.
• Consistently available nights and weekends.
• U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Responsibilities

• Properly set up banquet room(s) as instructed including linen and china.
• Serve food and/or beverage; ensuring consistency throughout event.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude and mannerism.
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall event success.
• During event, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success of the event.
• Once banquet is complete, all linen, silverware, china and trays must be removed from space.
